My favourite holiday is actually #Easter because of the reminder of Jesus’s love and ultimate sacrifice on the cross. That singular action is what allows us to have access to God the Father and for that, I’m so, so thankful. ⠀

It for sure has to be #Easter! I love the yearly reminder and #celebration of the whole reason #Jesus came to earth. That reason was to literally die for the whole world due to our #sins and in the process, take them away forever! ⠀

It’s another fabulous reminder of how much #God truly #loves us! So yeah, Easter takes the top spot for me. ⠀

#Goodfriday may seem gloomy but remember, #resurrectionsunday is coming! Jesus is alive! Hallelujah! If Jesus isn’t your personal #Lord and #Saviour, you don’t need any fancy words for Him to be, just invite Him into your heart and experience Him in ways you never dreamt possible. ⠀

The Most Fun I’ve Ever Had

This was my June 2012 birthday to the party island of #tenerife which is one of the #canaryislands in #Europe. ⠀

The funny thing about that particular birthday was it was not a milestone birthday but by gosh! It was certainly celebrated like one! 😁😎😁⠀

It was made even more LIT by the fact that I went with my oyinbo partner in crime @maureenokolo Yeah that’s right! See this white girl y’all are looking at? It’s just her skin colour oh! She’s black and more specifically #Nigerian in her #soul. ⠀

Bruh! She’s married to a Naija man and they have two beautiful babies together. I told you!⠀

We’ve had some interesting and wild times and crazy adventures together and my birthday that particular year was part of those adventures. ⠀

God, the fun I had that whole week is the stuff of legends. If you’ve ever seen the movie #thehangover, it’s like that but tamer. The character limit here won’t allow me to go into specific details but you guys, it was legendary! ⠀

Fun fact: A policeman assumed I was a prostitute one night we were out not because of the way I was dressed but simply because I’m black. That’s right people, the few black women there that’s what most of them do to make a living. I mean! ⠀

Anyways, I had so much fun that on the flight back to England, I joyfully declared to Maureen I was glad we were heading back home. Reason? At least I wouldn’t die of #alcoholpoisoning. Lol! ⠀

I didn’t know it was possible to have that much fun and drink so much until that week.⠀ ⠀
